A specialist Environmental Consultancy has an opportunity for a Senior Environmental Consultant specialising in Habitat Regulations Assessments.
Joining a team of professional and passionate staff delivering a wide range of environmental and sustainability projects for public and private sector clients.
Key areas that our client offers advice in include:

* Sustainability Appraisal
* Green Infrastructure
* Habitats Regulations Assessment
* Environmental Impact Assessment
* Ecology
* Geographical Information System (GIS) |
Candidate Requirements
|
The ideal candidate will be trained in environmental assessment and impact assessment, with a strong appreciation of landuse policy, ecology and spatial analysis. They will have worked closely on Sustainability Appraisal and Strategic Environmental Assessment (and possibly also Environmental Impact Assessment), and will currently be focused largely on Habitats Regulations Assessment for strategic planning documents having carried out numerous assessments.
Throughout their work they will have been called on to prepare and analyse GIS maps for use in assessments using ArcView. |
