Job Description
|
| Vacancies have arisen for individuals with experience as Senior Analysts to join the Inorganic Team of their Speciality Chemistry Section at Bretby. The role will involve sample preparation and analysis of routine and non-routine samples submitted to the laboratory and to report the findings of such tests, all within the client’s and company's expectations in terms of accuracy and timescales. This will involve using appropriate analytical techniques and equipment (principally hot plates/microwaves, furnaces/ovens, Ion Chromatography, ICP-AES, and ICP-MS), working within the requirements of UKAS, MHRA and other QA and safety systems. Work will also include data processing & preparation of technical reports for customers so applicants should be IT literate. |
Candidate Requirements
|
| The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working within UKAS and MHRA requirements, proficiency schemes and audits. The successful candidate will hold a degree or equivalent in chemistry or related subject, be computer literate with excellent communications skills both verbal and written, have the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines with good attention to detail. |
